SLRT is thrilled to share our new website with you and start the 2021 field season off with bang! The main aim of our organisation is to protect and improve freshwater catchments and the native animals that depend on those habitats around Skye, Lochalsh and the Small Isles. This means we spend most of our time along river banks and estuaries, so if you see us out and about and would like to find out a bit more about what we’re doing, feel free to come say hello (Covid-19 restrictions permitting)!
We are looking forward to an exciting year of monitoring work and will be sharing some field work updates on our social media pages, so give us a follow on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook if you’d like to see what we’re getting up to.
If you’d like to get involved with the work that we do, get in touch with us at . We are always looking to expand our enthusiastic volunteer base and would be happy to have you join us!
Covid-19 statement: The Skye and Lochalsh Rivers Trust is currently following all Covid-19 guidance produced by the Scottish Government. As we enter into our 2021 field season, any essential work that we undertake will follow Health & Safety guidelines designed to limit the exposure and transfer of Covid-19 within our community.
